Christina Battista lives in Rhode Island and is part of the PersonalChoice program. She has used her budget to hire personal care workers and purchase services. Christina also serves as a consumer representative for the Cash & Counseling Core Staff. Christina states:
"The Cash & Counseling program has helped me to improve my life in a huge way. I can now live in my own apartment independently, finish college and obtain my Bachelors degree in psychology, and live my life the way I choose. Also, it relieves my family from ALWAYS having to help me."
