New Center to Help States Implement Consumer-Directed Personal Care Programs
Center to Offer Training, Research and Technical Assistance to Help States Give Consumers Choice, Flexibility in Care
The Boston College Center for the Study of Home and Community Life today announced the creation of a new center that will give states the tools to implement a wide variety of consumer-directed care programs. Through funding and support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the U.S. Administration on Aging and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, the new national center will offer training, technical assistance, research and policy support to states and other organizations that want to offer, or are already offering, consumer-directed care services.
