Program Activities:
The Consumer Directed Option (CDO) program provides consumers the option to control their non-medical 1915 (c) waiver services. Consumers are allocated a monthly budget and use this budget to hire staff to provide personal care, homemaking , respite and more. Support Brokers work with consumers to develop and revise individual budgets. Consumers have the option of appointing a representative. CDO enrollment for Home and Community Based Waiver consumers began in September 2006.
